Patrick and Brittany Mahomes get a birthday message from brother (in-law) Jackson

Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany turned 29 – a few weeks before he does. The star quarterback’s younger brother Jackson has been close to the couple since they became prominent figures amidst the Kansas City Chiefs’ run of Super Bowl success.

He showed his love for them by posting this message on his Instagram Stories:

“Happy birthday (Brittany). Ride or die till the end. Love you B”

Ever since he pled guilty to a count of assault and was sentenced to probation in March, Jackson has been turning his life around. A few days ago, he joined the non-profit organization RMHC-KC (Ronald McDonald House Charities) and revealed a purported new partner in Shyanne Blankenship (no relation to Philadelphia Eagles strong safety Reed Blankenship).

There is another thing Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany received on her birthday week other than greetings; a chance to be interviewed.

On Wednesday’s episode of the “WHOOP” podcast, she delved into many topics, including her husband’s competitive beliefs and superstitions. Speaking of the latter, she had a surprising admission about Mahomes’ diet – at least if the game is at Arrowhead:

“He has specific things he eats, yeah. On game day, it’s like a grilled chicken sandwich with French fries and ketchup. I mean, in previous [years], it would be, like, a cheeseburger, but he’s come a long way.”But if the Chiefs are on the road, then it is different:

“The night before games, he’s not normally home, so he’s at a hotel or at an away hotel. And so, they provide him dinner.”Brittany also revealed that at times she would prepare his food in such a way that it resembled something else entirely – a trend that has since continued via a personal chef:

“I would give him mashed cauliflower and I would tell him it was potatoes, or I would make spaghetti and it would be vegetable noodles and he would have no idea. So, I used to trick him.”The couple are expecting their third child – a baby girl. No concrete due date has so far been announced.
