On Monday Night RAW, Rhea Ripley was tormented by the Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan. She first caused an injury to Ripley, which led to her relinquishing the title and spending time away from the ring. Liv then stole Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day from the Aussie superstar.

While Ripley would be able to beat Morgan and reclaim her title at any given point, her victory seems uncertain because the Women’s World Champion has The Judgment Day to help her. This is where former two-time Tag Team Champion Zelina Vega could return and help Rhea Ripley against Liv Morgan.

For those unaware, Vega has been away from WWE programming for a while now. However, she could return and help Ripley win the Women’s World Championship because, compared to Liv Morgan, Ripley would be a fair champion given she is currently listed as a babyface.

In her wrestling career until now, Zelina Vega has only won the Tag Team Championship twice. While she won one tag team title in WWE, she also won a tag team title in TNA. However, the Latino World Order member has never won a singles championship.

Hence, by helping Rhea Ripley against Liv Morgan, Vega could earn herself a Women’s World Championship opportunity against a fair champion. Another reason why this could happen is because, based on her recent social media post, it seems Vega might be close to making her return on WWE television.

Wrestling veteran predicts how Rhea Ripley’s match could go down at Bash in Berlin

After an unsuccessful attempt at SummerSlam 2024, Rhea Ripley will look to redeem herself at the promotion’s next premium live event, Bash in Berlin. At the PLE, which will be held in Germany, Ripley will team up with Damian Priest to face Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan.

During a recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Time Machine, wrestling journalist Bill Apter suggested an angle in which Ripley could pin Dominik. While former SmackDown GM Teddy Long liked Apter’s idea, he suggested an angle of his own. Long said:

“Nothing’s too early for these people, okay [laughs]? I gotta agree with Bill there. They would like to see Rhea pin Dominik. I can see them going in that direction, but then I think Rhea almost got him, one, two, and here comes Liv for the big save right there. Now Rhea turns it around and now she goes against Liv and just starts bamming on her, maybe turn into a big four-way there, and I believe the heels are gonna go over.” [From 01:49 – 02:22]You can check out what Teddy Long said below:

Regardless of who wins this mixed tag team match, many are expecting it to be very entertaining. It will be interesting to see if former partners Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio share a moment in this upcoming bout.
