Taylor Swift’s devoted fans, known as “Swifties,” are always on high alert for any glimpse into the pop star’s personal life, and her latest unexpected cameo involves not just her but her beloved cats.

Social media users are buzzing with speculation that one of Swift’s famous felines might have made a surprise appearance during a recent episode of Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast.

During the episode, which aired on Wednesday, a faint meow could be heard in the background, interrupting Travis Kelce’s brother and co-host, Jason Kelce.

Swifties quickly took to social media, convinced that the sound belonged to one of Swift’s cats, known to be a big part of her life. One fan shared a clip of the sound on X (formerly Twitter), jokingly noting, “Not the meow in the background! Travis letting one of the cats have its podcast debut.”

The speculation didn’t stop there. Fans quickly dismissed the idea that the sound could have come from Jason Kelce’s children, Wyatt (4), Elliot (3), and Bennett (1), after another user provided video evidence that the Kelce kids weren’t present during the recording.

For those unfamiliar with Swift’s furry friends, the pop icon is a proud cat mom to three: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button. Another Swiftie speculated that the meow could belong to Benjamin Button, while others suggested it might be Meredith Grey, given her known vocal personality.

Swift’s cats have been part of her public persona for years, even making appearances in her music videos and on her social media. In fact, Swift posed with Benjamin Button for her Time magazine cover in December 2023, where she also spoke for the first time about her romance with Travis Kelce.

“We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew we were together, which I’m grateful for because we got to get to know each other,” Swift revealed in the interview.

Travis Kelce has also addressed his relationship with Swift multiple times on his podcast, including in the recent season three premiere, which featured actor Adam Sandler as a guest. During the episode, Sandler praised Swift, calling her the “best performer,” to which Kelce wholeheartedly agreed, adding that Sandler’s whole family was excited when they first learned about the couple.
