12-year-old ventriloquist Brynn Cummings left both audiences and judges in awe during the semifinals of America’s Got Talent.
The stage came alive as Brynn combined both ventriloquism and magic, presenting a performance that left even the hardest judges like Simon Cowell genuinely impressed.
During her act, Cummings invited judge Heidi Klum to select a bird at random from a notebook, setting the stage for a hilarious act. The magic happened when Brynn said they she knew which bird Heidi would choose and pulled from behind a box an exact replica of Heidi’s chosen puppet, impressing the judges and audience.
What The Judges Said About Brynn’s Act
As the crowd erupted in amazement, the judges chimed in with their own praise. Howie Mandel, known for his discerning judgment, couldn’t help but applaud Brynn’s unique blend of magic and ventriloquism. “You’re adorable and you blend magic and ventriloquism. You deserve to be here. I hope America loves you,” he said, summing up the thoughts of what many people were thinking.
Judge Sofia Vergara, a seasoned entertainer herself, marveled at Brynn’s act by saying, “In a show that we have seen everything, we’ve seen so many ventriloquists, and now to see you also doing mentalism, I can’t even imagine the amount of concentration that you need to do.”
And, of course, Simon Cowell, known for his sometimes tough critiques, said, “You’ve got to remember what you do, which is ventriloquism, and you do it brilliantly. I mean, seriously, brilliantly.”
