The Angel Reese vs. Caitlin Clark rivalry isn’t going away anytime soon. In fact, it might escalate in their respective WNBA careers.

Clark, the former Iowa women’s basketball star, will play for the Indiana Fever next season after being taken with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Shortly after, Fanatics announced her Indiana Fever jersey was sold out. She continues to break barriers for women’s sports.

However, Clark isn’t the only WNBA rookie who’s jersey is selling off the rack.

Former LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese was taken by the Chicago Sky with the No. 7 overall pick, joining ex-South Carolina star Kamilla Cardoso (the No. 3 overall pick).

Reese announced over the weekend that her jersey is also a hot item in world of sports merchandise, and she thanked her fans for all the support in the process.

“my jersey already being sold is crazy i love yalllll,” Reese said on X.

It sounds like Clark isn’t the only WNBA rookie selling out her new jersey. Reese has officially entered the arena.

The good news is both Clark and Reese seem to be on good terms. Clark got her revenge on Reese and the LSU Tigers when Iowa beat them in the Final Four this year. Unfortunately, the Hawkeyes were unable to take down South Carolina in the title game.

Clark and Reese will play each other for the first time in the WNBA on June 1.
