Jonathan Coachman recently made some startling comments about Mercedes Mone. He even addressed her arrogance.

Mercedes Mone has been turning heads ever since her arrival in AEW. There have been numerous reports regarding her reported pay. Many critics and fans have also commented on the fact that she has creative control in the company.

Despite all these perks, Mone’s star power has started to dwindle and the fans have also turned on her. They were in Stephanie Vaquer’s corner at Forbidden Door and recently stood behind Britt Baker when the two women were engaged in a verbal sparring session.

During a recent appearance on Refin’ It Up, Jonathan Coachman spoke about Mercedes Mone. He commented on her being allowed to use Tony Khan’s jet saying he didn’t believe that to be true. He also mentioned that her demands are the reason she didn’t last in WWE. He also criticized her mic skills and claimed that Baker ran circles around her during their segment. Coachman also claimed that Mone has never been able to back up her arrogance and now she is getting exposed on the mic.

“You gotta be able to back it up with the arrogance and Mercedes has never been able to do that in the WWE. I don’t know why Tony Khan, but hey, she made all the money, but now she’s getting exposed because they’re giving her-her own mic segments every week and it’s not good and that’s why the crowd the other day told her to shut up. The crowd knows you gotta be able to talk and work and she can’t talk and that’s why sometimes she comes on, I turn it off. It makes more people money. It makes more people money if they do well, and absolutely I do (want AEW to do well).” [H/T Post Wrestling]

Mercedes Mone on starting a new faction in AEW

During Mercedes Mone’s recent segment with Dr. Britt Baker, the latter was attacked from behind by Kamille who made her first official televised appearance for the promotion since signing with them earlier this year. Following the assault, it looked like Kamille had aligned with the TBS Champion.

On a recent edition of her weekly newsletter Mone Mag, the TBS Champion talked about starting a new faction in AEW as it would be cool to have a new faction and a bodyguard.

“Getting me a bodyguard has me thinking about potentially starting a faction here in AEW. Yes, we all know factions in wrestling are cool, but for me it goes even deeper. At the end of the day, having a bodyguard and a faction creates more opportunities and jobs for women,” Mercedes Mone wrote. “To have a personal female bodyguard in your corner is an honor. Not to mention having someone like her who is so jacked that even guys are scared of her! What’s not to be excited to be about?” she added. [H/T WrestlingINC]

It remains to be seen who else will be added to the former WWE star’s new upcoming faction.
