Liv Morgan attempted to steal Dominik Mysterio from his on-screen girlfriend, Rhea Ripley, during the latter’s absence from WWE television due to injury. The Women’s World Champion even kissed Dirty Dom after he unintentionally helped her retain her title against Becky Lynch on RAW. The Eradicator recently opened up about that scene.

In an interview with WrestlingNewsCo ahead of her Women’s World Championship match against Morgan at WWE SummerSlam, Ripley addressed the 30-year-old’s actions towards her on-screen boyfriend. She denied that the two have a relationship, claiming people were delusional to think otherwise.

Meanwhile, she claimed Dominik finally showed his angry side when he publicly rejected Morgan on WWE RAW a few weeks ago:

“I don’t feel there’s a relationship there. I feel like people are a little bit delusional, and they’re making everything up in their head and they’re trying to find these little Easter eggs and these little signs that were never signs to begin with. I feel confident with Dom. I feel like he finally showed me that angry side, that pissed-off side of him, when he did have a go at Liv. He finally snapped, and it takes a lot to get Dom to snap,” she said. (From 1:54 – 2:23)

The Eradicator also commented on Morgan kissing her on-screen boyfriend, claiming she had never seen a man more disgusted by a kiss than Dirty Dom was after locking lips with the Women’s World Champion. She also sent her opponent a message, telling her that trashing Dominik’s PlayStation 5 would not get him to like her:

“But him repetitively saying no to her, and her just love bombing him every single week to the point that she kissed my man, and he, it’s the most disgusted that I’ve ever seen a man after kissing someone. [Everyone is talking about that face.] Exactly. So, like, I don’t know where people were getting this delusion from. I really don’t because he is so disgusted with her. He is so over her antics. She keeps stealing his stuff, burning his stuff, then she trashed our locker room. I mean, she trashed the PS5. Dom loves PlayStation. So, like, that’s not gonna get him to like you.” [From 2:23 – 3:05]

Rhea Ripley must lose at WWE SummerSlam for one reason, says veteran

Liv Morgan has held the Women’s World Championship since King and Queen of the Ring. WWE veteran Jonathan Coachman now wants to see her title reign continue past SummerSlam.

Speaking on The Last Word, the former Interim RAW General Manager claimed Ripley’s character does not need the title, unlike Morgan’s:

“To me, there are certain people, Tommy, that don’t need a title. There are certain people that are just great characters, and they can hold their own without giving them the championship. I think Rhea Ripley is one of those. So, she doesn’t have the title, I don’t think less of her. But for Liv to have the title, I think more of her. So, I agree with you, I would love to leave the title on her,” he said.

Despite Ripley being confident that Dominik Mysterio is on her side, many expect him to betray her and side with Morgan tonight at WWE SummerSlam. It would be interesting to see if that would happen.
