WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley has confirmed that she was crying for real after her loss to Liv Morgan at SummerSlam 2024. At the mega event, Dominik Mysterio betrayed Mami and helped Liv retain her Women’s World Championship.
At The Biggest Party of the Summer, Ripley and Liv collided in a match for the Women’s World Title. Their heated rivalry had been going on for months on end and Liv had promised to take everything from The Nightmare. She succeeded in her quest tonight, as she now holds the Women’s World Title and has Dominik by her side.
After the loss, Rhea Ripley headed backstage and was an emotional mess. The video quickly went viral and many fans sympathised with Mami. A fan later tweeted that Ripley was probably crying for real because SummerSlam was the end of a chapter for her. Rhea ended up liking the tweet and seemingly confirmed the fan’s theory.

Rhea Ripley and Dominik’s love story started way back in 2022
In mid-2022, Ripley began targeting Dominik Mysterio on WWE TV. She beat him up on various occasions. He eventually decided to embrace his dark side and joined The Judgment Day. For a while now, the duo had been publicly expressing their love for each other on their social media handles.
After WrestleMania XL, Liv Morgan put Ripley on the shelf and began eyeing Dom Dom. She kept trying to woo Dominik and her efforts finally paid off big time at The Biggest Party of the Summer. After Liv defeated Ripley with Dom’s help, the duo kissed on the entranceway as The Nightmare looked at them in horror. The former Women’s World Champion would want nothing but to exact revenge on Dirty Dom after what happened at SummerSlam.
