Indiana Fever v Las Vegas Aces

Jackie Young responds to hilariously calling Chelsea Gray a stud b**t in the hotel lobby

A hilarious moment between Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray took place on X, formerly Twitter, where Jackie retweeted Sydney Colson’s post that detailed a funny interaction between her teammates. Young explained the reasoning behind the incident between her and Gray.

“lol idk it just came out,” Young said.

According to Colson’s tweet, Jackie Young had called Chelsea Gray a stud b**t while the three were walking towards their team’s ace A’ja Wilson to congratulate her for winning the ESPY’s Best WNBA Player award. Young’s explanation for her statements lacked any firm reasoning, as she blamed it on not knowing why she said that.

Jackie Young is one of the main pillars of the modern-day Las Vegas Aces. She’s as important to the team as A’ja Wilson. She’s a natural leader and consistent scorer for the Aces besides Wilson. Young has the potential to lead the team to another championship even without Wilson.

Young is having a great season and is delivering All-Star-level performances. She’s averaging 19.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists, making her one of the highest-scoring individuals this season. Her interactions with her teammates also shows the healthy relationship she has with her teammates.

Jackie Young explains the reason behind the kind gesture for Caitlin Clark

During the Las Vegas Aces vs Indiana Fever game on Tuesday, Jackie Young made a kind gesture toward the Indiana Fever’s rookie star Caitlin Clark.

During a play, Caitlin Clark drove towards the basket with the ball but tripped on her way and was sent sliding on her knees to the floor. The Fever rookie got up and was tying her shoelaces.

In normal scenarios, the play would have resumed had the Aces moved the ball, but Young started to tie her laces as well to give Clark the time to get back up. On being asked about the incident in a press conference Jackie explained:

“You know just doing the right thing, making sure she’s good,” Young said.

“I just checked on her, gave her a little tap.. because at the end of the day we just wanna play this game, have fun, be healthy.

It was a great show of sportsmanship from Young’ towards Clark, as the Fever rookie hasn’t been treated very politely in her rookie year.
