CJ Perry spoke about Liv Morgan’s current gimmick
CJ Perry (fka Lana) recently shared her honest thoughts on Liv Morgan’s current character in the company.
In an interview with USA Today, the former Lana heaped praise on Morgan, explaining how incredible she was as an athlete. She added that the Women’s World Champion was certainly the perfect fit for the ongoing love triangle storyline on RAW.
Perry further highlighted how Morgan was cementing her place in the women’s division and opening up opportunities for the other female wrestlers in the industry.
“She’s [Morgan] in the perfect casting. She’s an incredible worker, she’s an incredible athlete. At the end of the day, professional wrestling is scripted television, where we want to believe what you’re doing is real, and she’s the hot girl. We love her. Those are exciting stories to tell on television. Women need to be represented, and yes, we are different than men. But we bring value. We can sell tickets. I mean, look at Liv Morgan right now. It shows you that we need everything. We need the competitors, we need the bada**es, we need the love stories, and there’s a spot for everyone,” she said.
It will be exciting to see whether Ripley can take her title back from Morgan at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event.
