Watson’s ability was highly regarded in the industry and within no time she rose the ladder in Hollywood and became the highest-paid female actor. Emma Watson as Hermione Granger
“I wasn’t very happy, if I’m being honest. I think I felt a bit caged. The thing I found really hard was that I had to go out and sell something that I really didn’t have very much control over.
To stand in front of a film and have every journalist be able to say, ‘How does this align with your viewpoint?’ It was very difficult to have to be the face and the spokesperson for things where I didn’t get to be involved in the process”
During an interview with Financial Times, Emma Watson shares that even though she has had a very successful Hollywood career, even though her movies were immediate blockbusters, and received proper ratings, she did not like filming in many of those. She continues that she had to put on a mask while filming as different movies want different leads and it was wearing her down. Apart from these, Watson also shared that she did not like standing in front of the media and answering questions about her role and performance, the performance over which she did not have control over.

Emma Watson’s father Chris Watson is a very decorated person, a lawyer by profession, and an avid enthusiast of everything related to wine. He even has his own vineyard for which he had to huge lengths to get it legalized by the authorities. Furthermore, currently, Chris Watson owns seven vineyards and is also laid the groundwork for the gin company Renais, launched by Emma Watson and Alex Watson. In the interview, she further shares that as she has been around the wine industry for quite a long time, she is really attached to it, as the memories that she holds are quite rich.
“I can’t say where the journey will go. I’m sure we’ll make mistakes. But I can vouch for Alex, I know who he is. I’ve seen what this is. I’ve literally picked the grapes myself.
People always told me I should direct and produce, even when I was on Potter. I was worried it was just technical, not creative, and I couldn’t bring what I think is probably my skill set.”

She also shared that eventually, she will get back to acting, but the when and where is a complete mystery as she still has her whole life ahead of her.
