In recent posts, Elon Musk has frequently used the phrase “woke virus” and emphasized that this has directly affected his child’s cognition. In 2022, Xavier Alexander Musk, Elon Musk’s son, decided to change his gender when he asked the court to change his gender from male to female, and registered the new name Vivian Jenna Wilson.

“The awakening virus involves sharing a distorted political identity, amplifying racism and sexism. It really divides people, makes them hate society and hate themselves,” said Elon Musk.
The conversation with DW on July 22 was the latest time the Tesla CEO commented on what he called the “awakening virus.” In addition, in the interview, Musk also criticized the use of puberty blockers, saying they act like sterilization.

Puberty blockers are used to limit growth during puberty. They block the production of estrogen

and testosterone, the hormones that cause the body to naturally go through the changes
associated with puberty.

“I was basically tricked into signing documents for one of my older sons. This was before I really understood what was coming. There was a lot of confusion and at one point my son was suicidal,” Musk added.

The billionaire seems to have an aversion to the “awakening virus”. The matter becomes even worse when the Tesla CEO believes that this is the direct culprit “killing” his son through the propaganda of transgenderism on the media and social networks.

Earlier this year, Musk posted on X that “the awakening virus is killing Western civilization” with a post featuring an image of Google’s Al chatbot spitting out racist images.

Recently, the term “woke virus” or “woke mind virus” has been used to criticize social movements such as Black rights, feminism, or organizational diversity policies. Despite its frequent use, there is no official definition of “woke virus.” The term is also judgmental, simplistic, and often used in a derogatory way, which can increase polarization and division.
