AEW star Buddy Matthews has shared a short message for his wife, WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley. The Nightmare recently posted a non-PG photo on Instagram, drawing a reaction from Matthews.

The couple began dating in 2022 before Matthews left the global juggernaut and signed with AEW that same year. They got engaged last year and officially tied the knot two months ago in a fairly intimate ceremony.

On Instagram earlier today, Rhea Ripley posted a photo of herself by the pool, seemingly enjoying her time away from the ring. Buddy Matthews reposted her photo on his Instagram Story, where he complimented her with the following message:

“My wife is a f***ing babe!” Matthews wrote.

Ricochet recently recreated Buddy Matthews’ non-PG post with Rhea Ripley

In May 2024, Buddy Matthews broke the internet with his unique pose in a picture with Rhea Ripley. He took a selfie with his head on Ripley’s backside while seemingly at the beach.

Three days ago, former WWE Superstar Ricochet wished to recreate this photo with his partner, Samantha Irvin.

The WWE announcer recently posted a series of photos on her Instagram account, and one of them included the former NXT North American Champion pulling out his best Buddy Matthews impression as he too posted a selfie of himself lying down on Irvin’s backside.

Ricochet replied to Irvin’s post tagging Buddy Matthews and confirming that he was indeed referencing that viral photo from a few months ago.

With there being rumors of the high-flyer going to AEW, there is a real chance that he could make his debut sometime soon. Buddy Matthews has been with the promotion for years, and he may cross paths with The Human Highlight Reel inside the ring.
