It looks like there’s a new lucky lady calling herself Jason Momoa’s girlfriend. We’re just as eager as you are to get to know her up ahead, but it wouldn’t be fair to dive in without first taking a look through Momoa’s romantic past. After all, the Aquaman star has had quite the romantic journey before his current relationship.

From his early days as a young Baywatch lifeguard to his current status as a Hollywood A-lister, Momoa’s dating history reads like a who’s who of talented actresses. He’s shared the spotlight with an Australian soap star, walked red carpets with a beloved ’80s TV icon, been linked to a rising Latina actress, and now seems to have found a connection with a fellow action movie star.

Simmone Mackinnon (1999 – 2005)

Jason’s first high-profile relationship was with Australian actress Simmone Mackinnon. The pair met on the set of Baywatch: Hawaii in 1999, where Jason played lifeguard Jason Ioane. Simmone, already an established actress in Australia, was guest-starring on the show. Their on-screen chemistry quickly translated to real life, and they began dating soon after working on the show together.

The couple’s relationship lasted for about seven years, and they even got engaged in 2004. However, their busy careers and long-distance relationship clearly proved challenging. Despite their best efforts, Jason and Simmone called off their engagement and separated in 2005.

Lisa Bonet (2005 – 2022)

Jason Momoa’s most well-known relationship was with actress Lisa Bonet. They first met in 2005 through mutual friends and instantly connected. Lisa, famous for her role as Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show, was already a mother to actress Zoë Kravitz from her previous marriage to musician Lenny Kravitz.

Jason and Lisa’s relationship quickly became serious. They welcomed their first child together, daughter Lola, in 2007, followed by son Nakoa-Wolf in 2008. Although they were rumored to have gotten married in 2007, the couple actually tied the knot in a secret ceremony in October 2017.

Their relationship was often looked at as serious couple goals. But after 16 years together and nearly five years of marriage, Jason and Lisa shocked fans when they announced their separation in January 2022. “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times,” the pair wrote in a joint statement on Instagram. “A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception, feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring.”

The Aquaman star and the actress went on to reveal their “family news” that they were “parting ways in marriage.” Their statement continued, “We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy, but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”

“The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become,” their statement read. The former couple ended their announcement with a note to their children Lola and Nakoa-Wolf. “Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life & our Children. Teaching our Children. What’s possible ~ Living the Prayer,” they wrote, adding, “May Love Prevail J & L.”

Eiza González (2022)

Following his separation from Lisa Bonet, Jason was linked to Mexican actress Eiza González in early 2022. Eiza, known for her roles in Baby Driver and Godzilla vs. Kong, was spotted with Jason at various events and outings.

Their relationship was relatively short-lived but gained plenty of media attention. “Eiza and Jason are dating, it’s very casual,” a source shared with Us Weekly in May 2022. “But they are having fun and getting to know each other. Ever since they met, there has been an attraction. Both of them are very attracted to each other and they’re seeing where things go.”

Sources close to the couple later reported that they were both busy with work and lived different lifestyles, which made it difficult to maintain a serious relationship. By June 2022, reports surfaced that Jason and Eiza had decided to go their separate ways, though they were said to still be in touch and on good terms.

Adria Arjona (2022 – Present)

Jason Momoa’s current girlfriend is actress Adria Arjona. The two first met on the set of the film Sweet Girl. While the film was release in 2021, principal photography for the project started in November 2019, so it’s possible they’ve already known each other for quite some time. Adria, daughter of singer Ricardo Arjona, has since made a name for herself with roles in Pacific Rim: Uprising and Morbius.

While they kept their relationship lowkey at first, Jason and Adria have been spotted together more frequently in recent months. They’ve been seen enjoying dinner dates and attending industry events as a couple. In June 2024, Momoa made their relationship Instagram official, sharing some photos of him embracing Arjona during a meal in Japan. In the post, he referred to the actress as his “amor.”

This public display of affection came not long after Momoa hinted at his relationship status during a comic con event in England. At the time, he stated, “I am very much in a relationship,” and added mysteriously, “You’ll find out very soon.”

Momoa also revealed to Entertainment Tonight in June 2024 that he and Arjona share a passion for motorcycles. He was quoted as saying, “My lady likes to ride.
