WWE Superstar Bayley recently reacted to a former champion’s post on social media. The star in question, Rey Mysterio, sent out a message of appreciation for The Role Model.

WWE is currently on its Mexico tour, and they kicked off the tour with a house show on July 13 Saturday, in Mexico City. The event saw talents from both the brands, RAW and SmackDown, putting on a great show and securing wins for themselves. At the event, Bayley successfully defended her Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair. She also paid tribute to the late Mexican wrestler La Parka by painting her face.

Taking to Instagram, Rey Mysterio sent out a message of appreciation to Bayley for being the champ and also posed with her as both of them had their masks on. The Role Model reacted to Mysterio’s post with some emojis, thanking him for the praise.

Bayley recalled her conversation with WWE Superstar John Cena

Bayley recently opened up about how she had approached John Cena for a conversation after the announcement of his retirement.

While speaking in an interview with the US Magazine, The Role Model stated that she had asked The Cenation Leader about what was missing from the women’s division, to which he responded by saying that each one should focus on storytelling.

Bayley further added how the chat went on for an hour as they discussed how the stars shouldn’t care about anything else but their way of storytelling. She also heaped praise on Cena’s contributions to the business and how it has been an inspiration to many.

“I said, ‘John, if there’s anything you think is missing from the women’s division or anything specific you think I should work on, what should it be?’ It turned into this hour-long conversation and it all came down to storytelling. What’s the story we’re trying to tell tonight? Don’t think about what they want, what he wants, what you want. It’s all about storytelling. He wants to give back in a way that not everybody does. He has such unique information that he can share. It brings us back to why we got into it. Having him around to have conversations has been really great.”

The Role Model is scheduled to face Nia Jax at WWE SummerSlam on August 3. It would be interesting to see how things change for Bayley in the near future.
