With SummerSlam around the corner, Cody Rhodes finds himself in a precarious position. The unhinged new version of The Bloodline has it out for him, and the new Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa, wants to bring the Undisputed WWE Championship back to the faction. With that in mind, he has done everything in his power to make life difficult for The American Nightmare.

So far, things have been going swimmingly for Sikoa and co., as they seem to have Cody Rhodes cornered. Not only does The Street Champion have a match for the title at SummerSlam, but he has also left Rhodes without any allies to rely on. After all, The Bloodline has successfully removed both Randy Orton and Kevin Owens from the equation.

Now, with the odds firmly in their favor, they head into SummerSlam confident that they will leave victorious. But, Cody Rhodes is nothing if not resourceful, and he might just find support from some former friends and enemies alike at The Biggest Party of the Summer. So, without further ado, here are three WWE stars he could rely on come August 3, 2024.

#3. The American Nightmare turns to his good old friend Seth Rollins

If there is one person that Cody Rhodes perhaps has the fondest memories of battling The Bloodline with, it’s Seth Rollins. The Visionary was one of the keys to The American Nightmare’s success at WrestleMania 40, as he valiantly stood by his side against Roman Reigns and The Rock. Furthermore, Rollins was essential on Night 2, as his distraction pretty much sealed victory for Rhodes, allowing him to finally finish the story.

With SummerSlam just around the corner, Rollins may not mind going for round two. Granted, he is currently embroiled in a feud that revolves around him, Drew McIntyre, and a man he does not like very much, CM Punk. But, as the WWE Universe knows, Rollins is a workhorse, and he is more than capable of dealing with McIntyre and Punk, while also handling The Bloodline and assisting the Undisputed WWE Champion.

#2. Brock Lesnar returns and gets revenge for Paul Heyman

Coming out of left field, we have a surprise Brock Lesnar return. While many are expecting The Beast Incarnate to make a comeback sometime soon, the chances of him doing so at SummerSlam are slim. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see him return and assist Cody Rhodes. Now, while there is mutual respect between them, the reason for Lesnar’s return may have nothing to do with Rhodes.

As many in the WWE Universe know, Lesnar is a “Paul Heyman Guy”, and given how Solo Sikoa treated The Wiseman, he could return purely for revenge. A lucky break for Rhodes, but one he would have to be wary of, given Lesnar would likely target his title once he’s done dealing with The Bloodline.

#1. Cody Rhodes finds an unlikely ally in the former Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns

In an unexpected turn of events, Cody Rhodes might find himself relying on his greatest enemy at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns. All hell has broken loose in The Bloodline since Reigns went on hiatus, and he needs to come back and set things in order. If reports are to be believed, then he could be back in action at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Well, what better way to announce your return, than to form a temporary partnership with the very person who beat you at WrestleMania? Reigns could come back and fend off The Bloodline, shocking Solo Sikoa. This could allow The American Nightmare to take advantage and get the win. With that, Rhodes can be done with The Bloodline, at least for now, as the civil war between the Sikoa-led faction and Reigns-led faction begins.
