LeBron James and Kevin Garnett might not see eye-to-eye when it comes to basketball. However, when it comes to Edwin Diaz’s trumpet tune “Narco,” they are both hyped by the New York Mets star’s iconic entrance tune.

In an episode of his podcast “KG Certified” with his former Boston Celtics teammate Paul Pierce, the 2008 NBA champion was hyped up remembering the tune. If that was not enough for Garnett fans, the NBA legend also enacted playing trumpet around Pierce.

Reacting to the video of the hyped-up Garnett, LeBron James posted an Instagram story of his former rival on the podcast. He also seemed to have gotten a kick out of KG’s reaction.

“Ticket is hilarious!!! But dead as* serious too.”

While Garnett has been vocal about his appreciation of LBJ’s greatness, James has rarely made a public reaction to Garnett aside from basketball. Two of the best players in the league’s history might not agree on the basketball court, but there is some amiability between them off the court.

Kevin Garnett has a plan to prolong LeBron James’ career

The pain of watching LeBron James retire from basketball is inevitable. In just a few years, the four-time champion will retire. However, Kevin Garnett thinks a way to postpone James’ retirement and prolong his NBA career would be to join Steph Curry in Golden State.

LeBron James and Steph Curry are teammates with Team USA for the Paris Olympics, and the superstar pairing is giving Garnett and NBA fans major teammate vibes.

After Team USA won convincingly against Canada in an exhibition game, “The Ticket” dropped his big take on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Lord! Bron could play 10 more years in a Draymond role,” Garnett wrote.

Draymond Green doesn’t carry scoring responsibility for the Golden State Warriors. However, he creates situations for his players to get open shots and show their skills.

Garnett is not wrong in his opinion, but Green also takes a lot of offensive assignments for his team. Playing in Green’s role might not prolong James’ playing career by 10 years, but it can extend it for a few years.

James will enter the 22nd year of his NBA career. Despite turning 40 in December, his agility and athleticism have not declined much. Even after a small gap between team games and the Olympic trials, the NBA superstar seems ready to start his season on a high note.
