Rumors of a beef between the two emerged after the Barbie World rapper released her debut album Y2K! in July 2024. Fans speculated that Ice Spice seemingly threw shade toward Cardi B through one of the songs of that album, BB Belt.

The internet was quick to notice that Ice Spice liked Cardi B’s Instagram post and shared their mixed reactions on X. A netizen suggested that the Bronx artist was trying to make her way back to Cardi B and tweeted:
“Look at her trynna crawl her way back ijbol”
Some netizens dismissed the idea of Cardi B and the Deli rapper sorting out their issues.
“I hope she comments and Cardi doesn’t like her reply make her feel it,” another X user mentioned
“No no no, we don’t want her and don’t care,” an internet user said.
“Aht aht the doors are locked,” another user stated.
Additionally, some internet users suggested that Ice Spice was trying to get on amicable terms with Cardi B, owing to the former’s feud with Nicki Minaj. In July 2024, the Princess Diana rapper told Rolling Stone that she had a “mixed” relationship with Nicki. In September 2024, Nicki Minaj unfollowed Ice Spice.
Meanwhile, another netizen referred to the rapper’s feud with Cleotrapa.
