Taylor Swift, who has been dating Travis Kelce since 2023, mimicked the gesture during her first London performance of the Eras Tour in June, sending their fans into a frenzy

One user tweeted, “I can >never< get over the archer pose being a new tradition for when he’s there and him doing it back to her.”

Another one commented at the time, “I actually need a close-up vid because she did the archer pose like Travis omg I’m bawling.”

“So I saw Taylor doing Travis’ archer pose without realizing what she did?” the third one added.

The Grammy winner also reportedly used her arms to create an invisible bow, before setting free an arrow while performing her song ‘The Archer’ earlier, which includes the lyric, ‘I’ve been the archer, I’ve been the prey.’

Andrei Iosivas faced a hefty fine after the September 15 game

However, Travis Kelce might have to stop the gesture after Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas was fined over $5,000 for his “bow-and-arrow” celebration following a touchdown against the Chiefs during last Sunday’s game on September 15.

The NFL accused him of unsportsmanlike conduct/violent gesture, as per Sports Illustrated.

Social media criticizes NFL for failing to penalize Travis Kelce after Andrei Iosivas fine

However, people on social media were quick to criticize the NFL for not penalizing Travis Kelce for the same gesture that led to Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas being fined.

An X user tweeted, “Hey @NFL – why would you fine Andrei Iosivas for doing something Travis Kelce has been doing for a while and as far as I know has never been fined over? Care to explain?”

The second user noted, “NFL needs to lighten up on all celebrations. It’s not that deep, and it makes the game more fun to watch.”

“I know some people are saying the video on the right is pregame vs the video of the left in game but TK has 100% done it in-game as well (I even remember Swifties talking about it last season!) so I would like to know what the difference is too.🤔so ridiculous the inconsistencies,” the third user mentioned.

One user claimed, “Bc they are Kansas City and we are not.  They have special rules. They basically can do what they want and nobody else can.”

Another user shared, “Chiefs are nfl golden child. Same rules do NOT apply to them as the other 31 teams. Sad.”

“Who knows with the NFL but maybe they think it’s different pre-game vs IN the game? Weird,” a user added.
