Nia Jax recently referred to a former WWE Superstar as her dad while sending him birthday wishes. The name in question is former 24/7 Champion Mojo Rawley.
The former American football player signed with WWE in 2012 as he joined the wrestling promotion’s developmental brand and was drafted to the main roster in 2016. Rawley parted ways with the global juggernaut as he was released from his contract in April 2021 after not being used on television for nearly 10 months.
The 2017 André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner turned 38 on July 17. SmackDown Superstar Nia Jax recently took to Instagram Stories to wish the former WWE Superstar a Happy Birthday. She shared multiple pictures of herself with Rawley and referred to him as her dad.
“Happy Birthday to my favorite dancer with the best hair ever! My Dad @stayhyped [Mojo Rawley]!!!” she wrote.

WWE veteran opens up about Nia Jax’s improvement as an in-ring performer
Nia Jax was heavily criticized during her previous WWE run, in which she accidentally injured some of her opponents. Nearly two years after her release, The Irresistible Force returned to the company last September. Jax appears to be more confident and assured inside the ring compared to her previous run.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Smack Talk, former manager Dutch Mantell pointed out that Triple H valued Nia Jax’s talent and helped her refine her in-ring skills. The 74-year-old also mentioned that Nia was highly unlikely to fail after the amount of work put into helping her improve:
“See, her big criticism was that she hurt people. But Triple H said, ‘We gotta fix that. We can’t have this specimen of a talent just sitting there doing nothing. So we can correct that.’ So you can tell they have done a lot of work on her. If this [is] Triple H’s stamp is on her, the last thing he wants is for her to fail. And she’s not gonna fail. You can tell how much work they put into her,” he said. [From 13:00 onwards]
Nia Jax won the 2024 Queen of The Ring tournament and is scheduled to face Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam. She has recently aligned herself with the Money in the Bank winner, Tiffany Stratton. It will be interesting to see who leaves The Biggest Party of the Summer with the title.
