This is the third consecutive year SEVENTEEN has reached the top 10 of IFPI and has also increased its rankings with each milestone. Last year, SEVENTEEN released 2 mini albums, both of which created a sales fever.
The 10th mini album FML is the first album by a Korean artist to sell 6.2 million copies. In August 2023, the group’s total album sales for the year reached 10 million copies, making people surprised. With momentum going, the 13 boys returned with Seventeenth Heaven, setting a record of 5 million copies sold in the first week.

Recently, Stray Kids is also the rare Korean group to win awards at BBMAs 2023 and People’s Choice Awards 2024. The group is expected to continue writing success for Kpop in the international market.

Besides, Kpop fans were also surprised by the appearance of the more than 1 year old girl group NewJeans. Even though they only debuted in July 2022, the 5 ADOR girls have quickly achieved impressive musical achievements. Not only “breaking” digital music, NewJeans also ranked top in revenue in 2023, being the first 4th generation girl group to enter the IFPI top 10 at position #8.
