Rhea Ripley had a legitimate crush on a current top WWE Superstar growing up. As they are now colleagues, The Eradicator recently opened up about their relationship.

The superstar in question is none other than The Miz. In several interviews, the former Women’s World Champion revealed that she was obsessed with The Awesome One when she was younger. She even once threw a birthday party for the two-time WWE Grand Slam Champion when she was a teenager and had a seemingly life-size cardboard cutout of him.

During an interview with SEScoops, Ripley discussed her transition from being a fan of The Miz to becoming his friend. Although she stated that she did not talk to him about previously having a crush on him, The Eradicator claimed the two bonded over music after becoming colleagues:

“It’s funny because I don’t think I’ve actually talked to him about it. Yeah, so, I think he obviously knows, cause all the interviews that I’ve done putting him over. But I feel like we’ve actually started to have a friendship as well, which is nice. Like, we bond over music. Like, he’s always showing me different bands and different songs,” she said. The former Women’s World Champion disclosed that she was surprised that she and The Awesome One connected through their love for music, pointing out that she did not think they would build a friendship based on that:

“We had a few road trips where we’d be on the same bus for hours and we’d end up just like blasting music and headbanging the whole trip, like the whole like four hours. Yeah, he’s like screaming. It was him, me, and [Damian] Priest, and we were just going absolutely ham, just screaming all the lyrics, singing, and headbanging, and we were like all drenched by the end of it, just sweating like absolutely grossly. But I feel like our friendship is like blossomed over music, which is really cool cause it’s something that I didn’t think we would blossom a friendship over, which is weird. Dominik Mysterio betrayed Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam

Rhea Ripley had an on-screen romantic relationship with Dominik Mysterio for nearly two years. However, Dirty Dom surprisingly turned on his Mami at SummerSlam to help Liv Morgan retain her Women’s World Championship. After the match, Dominik kissed Morgan, leaving The Eradicator in anger and disbelief.

Last Monday on WWE RAW, Mysterio and Morgan were shown as part of the new Judgment Day alongside Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Carlito. While Ripley was betrayed by Dirty Dom, her Terror Twin, Damian Priest, was a victim of betrayal from Balor at The Biggest Party of the Summer. Ripley and Priest are now feuding with their former teammates.

Ripley and Priest brawled with the new Judgment Day last Monday on WWE RAW. It will be interesting to see how this storyline advances in the next few weeks.
