Popular AEW star CJ Perry became a household name during her WWE tenure. She recently sent a message to one of her former colleagues. The name being discussed is Sonya Deville.

The 39-year-old debuted in the Tony Khan-led company at AEW All Out last September in Chicago, Illinois. After the match between her ex-husband, Miro, and Powerhouse Hobbs, Perry showed up and hit the latter with a chair. She soon claimed that The Redeemer had “lost his way” and expressed an interest in managing other clients.

CJ Perry eventually began managing Andrade, leading to a match between the former NXT Champion and Miro at Worlds End 2023. The 39-year-old betrayed the Mexican star, enabling The Redeemer to reign supreme.

During her eight-year stint in World Wrestling Entertainment, Perry made several friends, including Sonya Deville. In August 2023, it was reported that Deville suffered an injury, forcing her to be on the sidelines for months. The former Women’s Tag Team Champion recently returned to the company’s programming.

On the latest episode of RAW, Sonya Deville formed a new alliance with Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler and attacked Damage CTRL. Interestingly, Perry shared the clip of Deville’s segment on her Instagram Story and congratulated her on forming a new faction.

“Congratulations!!!!!!! Love you @sonyadevillewwe!!”

Is CJ Perry open to a WWE comeback?

In an appearance on The Bailey Show last year, Perry called World Wrestling Entertainment “one of the greatest franchises in the world.” The former Lana added that she wouldn’t think twice if the global juggernaut asked her to return.

“If WWE were to call me tomorrow and be like, ‘We want you back,’ it’s not about the money. I would shut the site down and go back because WWE is one of the greatest franchises in the world. Life is not just about money, you have to do what you love.”

CJ Perry was part of World Wrestling Entertainment from 2013 to 2021. She is best known for managing Miro, who performed under the Rusev moniker in the Stamford-based promotion.
