LeBron James brought his wife Savannah James and their daughter Zhuri to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Wednesday. The LA Lakers superstar traded his usual purple and gold uniform for the white and black color of Team USA. James led the Americans in an exhibition game against Canada.

A jam-packed arena watched the star-studded encounter between two heavyweights who will go to Paris to compete for the gold. The last time these two teams met was at the 2023 FIBA World Cup the Canadians won to grab the bronze. Fans were hyped for the game to start while the players seemed restless to get on with the game.

After a slow start, the LeBron James-led team pulled out an 86-72 win. After the game, Savannah James and Zhuri celebrated the victory to the tune of Kendrick Lamar’s ultra-popular Drake diss single “Not Like Us.”

The mother and daughter waited for “King James” to meet them on the court as other fans milled around the floor. It didn’t take long for the basketball star to arrive and show appreciation to his wife and “Princess.” It was almost a surprise the four-time NBA champ didn’t join his family in vibing to the music.

LeBron James and Savannah James seemed to have picked Kendrick Lamar over Drake

At the height of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake feud, it seemed like LeBron James and his wife Savannah James picked a side. The couple are reportedly close with both artists but it looked like they rooted for “K.Dot.”

In May this year, basketball’s power couple were spotted having a blast at a party. The music that got the Jameses going was none other than Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” Roughly a month later, James went to the rapper’s party that many considered to be his victory lap over Drake.

That wasn’t the only instance where LeBron James favored the Grammy and Pulitzer prize-winning artist over “Drizzy.” In one of the LA Lakers’ pregame warmups, a clip of James rapping to Lamar’s “Like That” became viral.

It may not be surprising why the NBA’s all-time career points leader likely chose a side. James was referenced in “Meet the Grahams” by Kendrick Lamar.

“Ayy, LeBron, keep the family away, hey, Curry, keep the family away. To anybody that embody the love for their kids, keep the family away.”On Wednesday, it looked like it isn’t just the NBA superstar who is squarely on Lamar’s side. His wife and daughter also showed their preference while vibing to “Not Like Us.”
